Office Policies

Scheduling Appointments
Except in emergency situations, all patients are seen by appointment. We understand there may be times when you have to reschedule your appointment – just as there may be times when we have to reschedule because of an emergency – and we will greatly appreciate your notifying us as soon as possible.

On your first visit to our office, or when you have a change of insurance plans, you will be asked to complete a personal information form, so please be sure to bring your insurance
card(s) with you.

Our normal office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Appointment Policies
Appointments are scheduled on an individual basis.

Providence Northeast Family Care always gives urgent or emergency appointments top priority. We make every attempt to see these patients on the day the problem arises.

After Hours
Our doctors are available to you for emergency phone calls after hours. Please use this service only for urgent matters that cannot wait until the office opens the next business day.

Prescriptions
We want to make sure you are treated with appropriate medicines, so we will not prescribe pain medicines or antibiotics over the telephone. We will, however, ensure that you can get an appointment for an acute visit.
